What works best when promoting your professional website designers.
Eight Simple, Yet Essential, Web Design Principles
by: Alan Richardson
As the internet evolves from its infancy into maturity, professional website designers development, design and marketing becomes more and more sophisticated – and more and more complex. Content manipulation, various scripting methods, fancy graphics and effects… and on and on… allow us to create some impressive professional website designers.
A good gauge of this complexity is the a slew of new internet-related acronyms which popup on a consistent basis. Heck, I don’t know what half of them mean. But one acronym I do know – and it’s not an internet creation – is nevertheless key to the development and design of any successful business professional website designers. Perhaps you’ve heard of it – K.I.S.S. As you probably know, it stands for ‘Keep It Simple, Stupid!’. And it’s a methodology widely employed by the best web developers, designers and marketers in the business. A philosophy that provides the foundation for all successful revenue-generating professional website designers.
From the largest, multi-product online business conglomerate to the one-page one-product mini-site, the purpose is the same. Provide visitors, whether internet savvy or first time surfers, with an online experience that’s fast, efficient, easy to understand – and dare I say it… yes, enjoyable.
Whether your an entrepreneur building your own web site, or reviewing one built for you by a web development and design expert, it is important your web site, your online business, adheres to these eight simple, yet essential, design principles. Heed them, and online success is sure to follow. Ignore them, at your peril. Here they are.
Each professional website designers must have a purpose – and that purpose must be clearly stated. While a consistent design ‘look and feel’ is vital across all pages of your web site, each page has a specific function to perform. And that function should be clearly understood by all visitors to your web site. Whether it’s to elicit feedback, provide feedback, promote your company, present product information, etc., all play a role in your ultimate goal of growing your business.
Navigation around and through your business web site must be clearly visible and easy to use. See my article on professional website designers navigation for more details.
Avoid distraction and clutter by minimizing usage of fancy flashing and moving objects, which provide more sizzle than steak, and make your essential products or services harder to find.
All business websites should have contact information clearly visible. A ‘Contact’ page is minimum. It’s also advisable to include contact information on every page of your web site. You never know when the urge to turn from prospect to customer will strike your visitor.
Not everyone has broadband. Yes, there are still a fair number of users surfing the internet with slower, less efficient, dial-up access. That may change in the future, but it’s a reality today. Ignore this substantial customer base and you’re business will surely suffer. To avoid this pitfall, pay careful attention to eliminate internet-clogging elements on your web site. When possible, use text instead of graphics, static graphics instead of animation, several smaller pages instead of one large page. Do this and you can feed quite well on the desertions from your flashier competitors.
For those who are broadband users, who are not negatively effected by all those ‘bells and whistles’, who may actually enjoy such an impressive display, remember, ‘form follows function’. This is especially important on a business web site, where functionality is key. All else is fluff and distraction.
For those of us who may be ‘visually challenged, make sure your web site is easy to see. Avoid fancy fonts and use the more legible standard-bearers, such as Times New Roman, Courier New, Arial and Verdana. For standard text, use font sizes of at least 10 pt… 12 pt is better. On many a web site, font sizes of 8 pt or less are used, perhaps in an effort to avoid the need to scroll. Let me tell you… it’s much better to scroll than to squint. For when I squint, I usually stroll… right out of the site. It’s also a good practice to limit the use of italics as they too are harder to read. Lastly, pay attention to text and background color. Although white text on a black background looks cool at first glance, it can quickly strain the eyes. You don’t want to do anything that will cut your visitor’s journey through your business web site..
Whenever possible, limit page lengths to no more than two page-downs. It is better for performance (page loading) and visitor attention when pages are short, quick reads. If necessary, breakup your text into multiple pages, with a ‘continued’ designation at the bottom of each page.
There you go. Eight simple, yet essential, web site design principles that can spell the difference between online business success or failure. Always remember, you’re never more than one-click away from visitor abandonment. K.I.S.S. your website and it will reward you abundantly.

If you only train against a heavy bag, or practice & rehearse
self defense drills in a mcdojo, or are being trained by an arm
chair instructor with no real fight experience your in trouble!
Now listen this is very crucial for all the information you know
and all your hard work and training. You need to purchase a
martial artshelmet, and 16 oz open hand mma gloves, find a
park with a training partner and get out there and practice
fighting thru sparring exercises! Seo services
You need to feel the stress and pressure of engaging an
opponent, feel the pain of being hit, feel the stress of having
fists and kicks flying at you, I even recommend sparring with
no gloves or helmets once you and your partner are good.
You may have all my self defense and fighting tips memorized
and I commend you for it, but if you don’t have any experience
of being hit, timing, speed, range of motion, and actual fighting
experience you could end up dead after a street attack.

having fists hitting your wrists, punching your face, being
grabbed and attacked. The only way you can develop this
sense of calm is thru experience only.
Continue studying and training in your martial art and do sparring

According to the FBI, four women die everyday as a result of domestic violence and about 130,000 women report that they’ve been victims of rape or attempted rape annually. Because of statistics like this, many women enroll in self-defense classes to learn the skills they need to defend themselves.
The thing is, a short-term self-defense class may not address all of the areas you need to be able to fully defend yourself. While martial arts classes won’t specifically train you for combat and fighting, they will give you the ability to defend yourself if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to practice self-defense. The best part is that this self-defense isn’t always physical. What most people don’t know is that in a good martial arts class you’ll learn a variety of skills to help you gain the awareness, peace and physical conditioning you need to be a stronger person, in all aspects of your life Google Seo.
Confidence. All the physical defense skills in the world won’t help if you don’t have the confidence needed to use them. That’s the beauty of martial arts training. In order to successfully train a martial art, you need to have your mind and body in tune with one another. This self-awareness gives you the confidence your need to control and defend yourself if needed. You’ll be able to handle everyday and extraordinary situations without losing your temper. You’ll be able to stand your ground. You’ll appear to be (and will be) more confident – and people who appear to be confident are less likely to be the victims of violence because they don’t look like “easy targets”.
Focus and Awareness. While training martial arts, you need to focus and concentrate on what you are doing so that you don’t injure yourself or those around you. This focus and concentration carries over into other aspects of your life as well. Soon, you’ll find yourself better able to concentrate on work, school and home. You’ll even find yourself being more aware of your surroundings which can help you avoid potentially harmful or violent situations.
Peace. Training martial arts will also give you an inner peace that can change your life. First of all, to effectively train martial arts, your workout will always be changing. You’ll never get bored with your workout because it will always be challenging to your abilities (both physical and mental). In addition to that, training martial arts is a great stress reducer. You probably already know that regular physical exercise can reduce physical stress, but what you don’t know is that martial arts go one step further to reduce emotional stress as well. Activities such as martial arts that require you concentrate on your movements and your core strength can give you full stress relief in one activity.
Strength and Conditioning. When you train martial arts, you use your entire body. You cannot use just one muscle set at a time. The exercises are always changing and evolving to give you the maximum out of each training session. Martial arts also increase your flexibility which is great because people who are flexible suffer fewer injuries, have better posture and are better able to relax their muscles.

This article explains a few things about tae kwon do, and if you’re interested, then this is worth reading, because you can never tell what you don’t know. elite mma gym
The kicks used in Taekwondo sparring are more striking than in any other martial art. Even though the kicks in poomse are simpler than the ones used in sparring, they can be equally as impressive if executed properly.
Also, a good, solid front kick is more impressive than an impromptu tornado or double roundhouse kick.
What is it that makes a great taekwondo kick?
1. Balance.
Balance may not be seem as obvious as you think. And balance is more than just not ending up on the floor. It is a matter of fluidity, of gracefulness, of naturalness.
With a properly balanced kick, the supporting foot does not wobble, the hands do not flail about, and the athlete does not rush to complete the kick.
Also, the athlete begins and ends the technique in the proper stances without having to correct the stances to accommodate the kick.
Practice moving within your stances. When you feel comfortable doing simple things within your stances, you should try to kick from one stance into another.
2. Proper form.
Having proper form is a requirement to having a beautiful kick. Proper form may be defined as the correct positions to which the entire body enters as it performs a kick from start to finish.
It is wise to talk with your instructor or other certified professional martial artist to learn the more articulate details of proper form. They will have the answers to any questions that you may have.
Those of you not familiar with the latest on tae kwon do now have at least a basic understanding. But there’s more to come.
3. Control.
The kick in Taekwondo is not supposed to be like that of a whip. It does not have to be so fast that it cannot be seen.
Instead, the kick is to be relished and beheld as the single most attractive feature of Taekwondo.
It is therefore necessary to control the kick. Controlling the kick involves the ability to freeze the kick for a split second at full extension.
This 밼reeze?is the life of the kick. It is the most memorable and beautiful part of the kick. Controlling the kick is not that easy though. Usually it involves much concentration and many years of practice.
Form is a must to both control and power. If you are not sure that you are doing the kick with proper form yet, keep working on the form part before you begin working on the control part.
Control takes some muscle development and patience, but it is well worth all the effort in the end.
4. Power.
Nothing is worse than seeing someone perform a kick with great form, balance, and control, but with no power.
If this is the case, that person is better off as ballet dancer than a taekwondo practitioner. There is no such thing as an excellent kick that has no power.
Take note that proper form is needed to achieve control. And control is the factor that leads to power.
Bear in mind also that if you try to develop power without mastering the proper control first, it may result to permanent damage to your joints. So be very careful.
The process for developing power in a taekwondo kick is very similar to developing control in that same kick.
Hopefully the sections above have contributed to your understanding of tae kwon do. Share your new understanding about tae kwon do with others. They’ll thank you for it.
Your Guide to Top Search Engine Rankings
Posted by fuefzeb in Uncategorized on January 18th, 2011
Does it seem like no matter what you do your website just won’t climb up in the search engine rankings? If so, your web site may not be optimized well enough for the search engines to increase your rankings. There are some very important factors that determine where web sites are ranked. These factors are referred to as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) making money online techniques and they can make all the difference in your sites rankings.
Here are some of the most important factors that the search engines use in determining your rankings:
1. Web Site Content
Content on your site is one of the most important factors for successful search engine optimization. Your web site should provide valuable information on specific subjects relevant to your web site. Furthermore, your content should be updated regularly. It’s not enough to just put up a few content pages full of information on your site and then never add to it. This is a continuous process that will help your search engine rankings if done correctly.
It’s also important that you don’t try to trick the search engines by flooding them with multiple versions of the same page, repeating the same content over and over. Doing that will not help your rankings and will eventually lead to your site getting banned from the search engines.
2. Link Popularity
Inbound links are very important for achieving high search engine rankings. Most of the search engines today regard link popularity as one of the most significant determinants of your website’s rankings.
Here are some of the best ways to get inbound links:
* Articles – Writing and submitting articles to website’s and article directories is a very good way to get inbound links.
* Content – Not only will adding quality content help in your rankings by itself, it will also help you with your link popularity. Other webmaster’s will want to link to your site because it is valuable to them and their own visitors.
* Directories – Submitting your site to online directories will help you gain inbound links.
* Blogs – Start a blog that you update frequently with information related to your website’s niche. Then, link to your site from the blog. You can also submit your blog to various blog directories to get even more inbound links.
* Link Exchanges – Simply find other quality sites related to yours and ask them to link to you in exchange for a link back to them. This is not as effective as it used to be but it is still a pretty good way to get inbound links.
When trying to increase your link popularity remember that the more inbound links you get the better, but quality is always better than quantity. Stay away from low quality sites, FFA’s, and sites unrelated to yours.
The next things that should be considered when doing SEO for your web site are the on-site and the off-site elements. Some of the on-site elements are the title tag, Meta tags, heading tags, ALT tags and highlighting of the text using the bold tag. The Link text is an important off-site element.
On-Site Elements:
3. Title Tag and Meta Tags
Meta tags help describe the page where they are placed. Though today the Meta tags are not nearly as important as they once were and are definitely not the only things the search engines look for when indexing your site, they are still somewhat important in deciding the relevancy of the page for a keyword search.
Search engines focus on three primary tags to help them determine the relevance of a website for a particular search phrase. The Title Tag, Meta Keywords and the Meta Description…
Ideally the title tags should contain less than 64 characters with your most important keywords in them and should definitely be relevant to the content on the page. Do not stuff keywords in to the title tag!
The Meta description tag is a summary of the page and its contents. This Meta tag should be 200 characters or less and should contain keywords and phrases you hope to be found for, but it should also read like an introductory lead-in for the page and be appealing to the reader. The description you provide for your page has to convince the visitor that they have found exactly what they were looking for.
Probably the least important Meta tag to search engines is the keyword tag. However, it shouldn’t be ignored. Keyword tags should be less than 1000 characters. This tag should include important keywords and phrases consistent with the body text, title, and content of the page. Be specific and accurate with the keywords and key phrases in this tag. Again, do not stuff keywords here… they should only be those that are actually on the page and do not repeat any word more than 3 times.
4. Heading Tags
The heading tags are given more weight than the ordinary text. The higher the H tag the more weight it carries. You should make use of the heading tags to highlight the important keywords and headings of your page as well as the paragraph headers.
5. Bold Text
Bold text is given a little more weight than ordinary text but not as much as heading tags. Make sure to enclose some of your keywords in bold tags when they appear on the page.
6. Alt Text
The alt tag provides alternative text when images cannot be displayed… This might happen if the users have set the browsers only to download the text and not the graphics, or if the images are too heavy to download for the user’s internet connection. Only include important keywords relevant to your site and the image and do not stuff keywords in them.
Off-site elements:
7. Link Text
This is a very important factor in search engine optimization to gain higher rankings. The link text can be on pages within your site or what other web sites use to link to you. Either way, it is important. If possible the target page’s main search term should be included in the link text instead of just the URL. Do not use identical link text for every link, but do include the target page’s main keywords in the link text. Links carry more weight when the text around them is relevant to the target page’s keywords and phrases.
Following the above SEO information will help tremendously in your search engine rankings. Remember that the search engines are advancing all the time. Don’t try to trick them because they will eventually catch on and that could mean the end of your web site. Stick to the basic techniques above and you will increase your search engine rankings without fear of being banned or dropped.

Know what words your customers will use when searching.
You might know what your customers search for. If not, find out. Is it a description of “pants” or “jeans?” One may be searched more often than the other, but why not target both? How about “executive gifts?” Maybe “desk accessories” will broaden your web site marketing strategy.
Ask all kinds of people. Get advice from people in all walks of life including management, employees, customers, vendors, friends and family on how they would search for effective search engine positioning keywords. Ask them how they would search for different products and services. It’s really not about what you think they would search for, its about what they think. Believe me, they can many times be two totally different things.
Once you have successfully harvested a meaningful keyword list, remove any keywords that are too targeted or not to specific. Also remember that keyword placement is important. Try to put as many keywords as possible in the beginning paragraphs, and of course the title line.
The higher the value of the keyword the more competition you will have. Every SEO utilizes tools similar to the Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool and also know the value of a keyword. The lower the value of the keyword the less competition we will have.
We don’t want to aim to low but we also don’t want to aim to high. We need to find a middle ground. For you that may be a keyword with a value of no less than 1000 and no more than 10,000. It will be up to you to determine what you deem reasonable.
Also, the keywords should appear regularly throughout the opening Web page. It is especially important that they appear frequently in the opening paragraphs.
However, resist the temptation to overuse keywords. The search engines can spot it and will reduce your page rankings. Tools are available to help with optimal keyword density. However, avoid software that writes the site’s pages. Search engines can sniff these out, too.
Wordtracker: a Must for any Search Engine Optimization Project
Posted by fuefzeb in Uncategorized on December 7th, 2010
While many factors influence the rankings of a web site, any search engine optimization effort isn’t worth even a second of your time without one and single unknown: relevant and competitive keywords.
Let’s examine an example: a local moving company decided to optimize its website. It knows (or assumes that it does) that the most popular keywords for their type of business are “movers” and “moving”. At a first glance, looks like everything’s fine: the keywords seem to be relevant, and should produce good results. However, there are two mistakes made here. web design consulting
The first one is keyword relevancy. What’s the use for our local moving company of people that are looking for “movers” or “moving” in Denver, CO, Boston, MA or New York, NY, if they are located and offering services in and around San Francisco only?
Another mistake is keyword effectiveness. It’ll take much more time and effort to get top rankings for such popular and competitive general keywords as “moving” and “movers” than to get same results for something more specific and relevant, such as “movers San Francisco” or “moving San Francisco”. Not only are these keywords more likely to convert visitors to buyers, but also it’s a much easier and less time-consuming task.
If the world we live in consists of atoms, the smallest and most important particles in search engine optimization world are keywords. In fact, there’s nothing complicated about them, if one remembers three things about keywords: relevancy, effectiveness and Wordtracker.
Wordtracker.com is an UK based company that offers an irreplaceable search engine marketing service tool: keyword research and analysis. It helps to find and pick keywords that are both relevant and competitive. Relevant mean that the keywords are related to your website, and that these are the words people are typing in Google, Yahoo or MSN in order to find your kind of business. Another important factor in determining a “good” keyword is its effectiveness. Let’s say we have a keyword “movers” which has a record of appearing in Google search list for 1009 times; there are 15400000 different web pages competing for this keyword. This means that this keyword’s effectiveness index is 1009/15400000=0.066. This index shows that the keyword is far too competitive and you’ll probably end up somewhere in the middle of Google’s search results if you try to optimize your webpage for this particular keyword. A rule of thumb is to find keywords that are quite popular and at the same time have fewer webpages competing for them. A good keyword is considered to have an effectiveness index of over 100, although anything in between 10 and 100 can be targeted as well.
Needless to say, without having the right keywords that are both relevant and competitive it’s impossible to succeed in any search engine optimization campaign. Without knowing your niche words, you’ll probably end up competing against web sites with thousands of inbound links optimized by search engine optimization gurus and will be lost in millions of search results – no one will even ever find out you exist. On the other hand, all it takes to get your web traffic from 0 to couple hundreds a day might be something as simple and cost-effective as Wordtracker.

The acceptance of website templates as an alternative to website designing can be attributed to the ability of templates in improving the work efficiency of the webmaster. Of course, they also reduce the costs involved in setting up a website.
Website templates have evolved over the years from simple HTML web page templates to the Flash template designs that allow for dynamic and customized websites. Getting a website designed from scratch is an expensive and time-consuming process. Moreover, it is not easy to get the right web designer, very often projects get delayed because of difference in opinion between the web designer and the webmaster and delay usually implies escalating costs. Website templates help to solve this problem by offering a selection of web page designs at a fraction of the cost of a professionally designed web page.
Multimedia Flash and other professionally designed templates enable webmasters to select from millions of permutations and combinations without having to approach a web designer. Inexperienced webmasters benefit more from using website templates as it frees their time and allows them to concentrate on other issues regarding the development of their website. There are many websites that offer templates that can easily be customized to a webmaster’s requirements.
Arriving at the right website design can speed up the website development process as after freezing the design, adding content to the website is not very time consuming and can be accomplished relatively easily. Website templates allow webmasters to pay more attention to this critical aspect of website development, and thus are more likely to receive traffic from search engines.
As website templates provide a readymade and consistent design for each page; they help in binding a website together, giving it uniformity and coherence, and in facilitating smooth browsing. Templates are available with editable and uneditable regions so chances of content getting erased are reduced. An important advantage that website templates offer is the ease with which they can be modified, the HTML and CSS components are not very difficult to master and once the basic website is in place and online, a webmaster can crystallize his concepts and customize the website to suit his business needs by fine tuning the content or adding JavaScript, if required.
Thus, website templates, that cost round $50 – $200, are of great help to webmasters in running the website more efficiently. They also allow the site to generate revenue quickly by allowing the webmaster to sooner focus on producing content, and implementing marketing activities such as web page optimization and competitor analysis.

If you have had the same look for your website since it was implemented it is probably time to redesign it. Times change and consumers will be looking for something up to date and refreshing. It is important to test your website to find out where it is that most consumers are leaving. Do some work to implement changes to these areas of your website so they will be more likely to stick around and complete the purchase.
Chances are that your business has grown significantly since you first implemented your website. It is important to reflect those changes in your information so that consumers will be more willing to make a purchase. For example instead of just saying your business was established in 2002 you can add the volume of sales you have had or that you are the industry leader in that market. Anything that will substantiate that you are a reputable business offering quality products or services.
Too many websites use Flash and various other types of animation. As a result it takes time for the web pages to even open. This can discourage visitors and they may leave before they ever even open up the information. If you aren’t getting the traffic you think you should for your website then you need to take a very close look at changing these aspects of your site.
These days consumers are looking for websites that are extremely easy to navigate. If you don’t offer that convenience then they aren’t going to stick around long enough to see what all you have to offer or to make a purchase. While you want the design of your website to be attractive, you also want it to be very simple when it comes to functions. Make sure there aren’t errors on your pages either. Common spelling and grammar errors will be picked up on by the consumers and they will hesitate to make a purchase from you at it makes your website appear to be unprofessional.
In order to increase your amount of traffic, you also need to take the issue of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) into consideration. Implementing some changes will get you a higher ranking and that means more consumers coming to see what you are all about. Make sure they find plenty to interest them when they get there.
Redesigning your website can be a very useful way of getting people to check it out in depth and to make a purchase from you. Consumers are often looking for something new so offering a creative website that is easy to navigate will definitely keep them coming back. There are plenty of excellent tools out there to assist you with redesigning your website so it doesn’t have to be expensive.
If you aren’t able to take care of the needs of your website on your own it is a good idea to hire someone to do so for you. This investment will be instrumental to the success of your online business. You don’t want to offer those that come to your site outdated information or the same look they are seeing everywhere else.
